virtually one and the same, as they are both derived from the same plant. We tend to label the more refined products as
"linen" and the coarser "flax".
The Linen Scrim, which has always been a
favourite of window-cleaners, is a very open-weave cloth
whose fans now include Interior Designers as well as the Fashion
Trade.
