Linen & Flax are virtually one and the same, as they are both derived from the same plant. We tend to label the more refined products as "linen" and the coarser "flax".
The Linen Scrim, which has always been a favourite of window-cleaners, is a very open-weave cloth whose fans now include Interior Designers as well as the Fashion Trade.
Natural Jute Hessian (183cm's Wide)
Jute Hessian is widely used in Upholstery, Wall-coverings, Panels for Display etc.
All of these fabrics are very versatile and are widely used by Artists for painting on, by manufacturers of curtains, tablecloths, bags clothes and accessories, as well as for textile-conservation, backing antique carpets and wall-hangings etc.
